At Camp East Woods we prioritize the health and safety of our staff members and campers. Our plans for reopening have been shaped by the New York State Department of Health guidelines and requirements.

Campers must partake in daily screenings, temperature checks, vigorous sanitizing and social distancing. There will be a maximum of 15 campers per group.

All campers 3 years of age and older, or any camper entering our Discoverer program and beyond, will be required to wear masks indoors at all times. Teachers and Counselors are required to wear masks indoors and outdoors at all times.

Camp East Woods will use best practices for social distancing while outdoors

not wearing masks outside with campers six (6) feet social distancing and in the pool.

Camp East Woods (CEW) is in compliance and declares that
the camp s required to be permitted to operate by Nassau County Department of Health;

the camp is required to be inspected a minimum of twice yearly; and the inspection reports concerning such camps are filed at 200 County Seat Drive, Mineola, NY 11501.
